Party on Plomosa Following the exciting New Year’s celebra tions, excitement remains, as it is now time to head to Quartzsite, Arizona, where there is a large RV show. But even more fun is the meet ups with chapters and BoFs, as well as, catching up with old friends and meeting new ones. Even more fun is the "Party on Plomosa." P arty on Plomosa, held this past January 25, was fi lled with a lot of meetups and fantastic enter tainment by the Status Crowes. The club brings Freedom One, the Escapees event trailer, which provides a stage and carries with it all the benches and tables needed to out fi t the event. If you are not aware, Freedom One is self-contained, with plenty of solar that delivers all the necessary electricity to put on such a huge event. “There was plenty of dancing, singing and food! If you have never been to Party on Plomosa, you are missing out.” The Party on Plomosa is an annual event that, of course, welcomes all Escapees but is also open to those who are not yet members of our fantastic club. Not only does the party consist of great music, but also vendors who bring rigs to walk through, a sponsored food booth and, if needed, a few porta potties to round out the set up. We provide places to sit, but many bring their comfy chairs to sit in as well. This year the party was held on a beautiful day with little wind and loads of sun. Attendance was the largest it has ever been, with more than 1,000 people. Bran don Hatcher and Kerensa Durr #115527 started the party off with some great information about Escapees bene fi ts. We were pleased and privileged to have a few chapters, BoFs and SKP Co-Ops at tables to answer questions about the fun and bene fi cial activities of each group. If you are unaware, Escapees chapters are regional groups, BoFs are Birds of a Feather, special-in terest groups. SKP Co-Ops are individually owned parks all with-in Escapees. There was plenty of dancing, singing and food! If you have never been to Party on Plomosa, you are missing out. Join us in 2024! Bring your favorite drinks and chairs and rock out with us!
