dancing and all-around good times. Needless to say, I believe we pulled some new friends into our ranks, and I look forward to seeing many of them in attendance at future Convergences. In April, Xscapers headed to the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds, in Sonoita, for the Arizona Wine Country Convergence. With just over 50 RVs on site, members were treated to a laid-back week fi lled with winery hops, live music from local artists and Xscapers members, brewery tours and much more. This was a new location for the Xscapers, and everyone in attendance agreed it was a beautiful location for such a fun and carefree event. As the summer months approach, Xscapers are looking forward to a number of events on the Convergence calendar. First, July will see the return of the ever-popular 4th of July Convergence, taking place once more in beautiful Salida, Colorado. In September, Xscapers will descend on the town of Bishop, California. This highly anticipated event was on the calendar in 2020 but had to be canceled due to the previously mentioned Covid shut downs. Now that it is back, members can hardly contain their excitement. In October, members will have two events on the calendar to choose from. The 2023 Albu querque Balloon Fiesta is back, and just two weeks later, Xscapers return to Las Vegas for another epic Halloween event. As always, keep your eye on the Xscapers website and newsletters for event updates, including new events and ticket sales. Safe travels! “Xscapers hosted three separate silent disco dance parties. The nights were fi lled with laughter, dancing and all-around good times.”

members enjoyed a lot-crawl, three nights of live music from local bands, and a catered barbecue dinner. What’s more, the Western Pyrotechnics Association lit up the skies for hours each evening with incredible displays of breath taking fi reworks, choreographed and set to music. This event will return to the Convergence calendar in 2024, and it is a must-see for fi rework enthusiasts. March brought the 62nd Escapade, returning to Tucson for the fi rst time in four years. In the past, Escapade has enjoyed a growing number of Xscapers in attendance, but this year, it saw the greatest numbers yet! Escapade is the largest event on any of the Escapees event calendars, and it is a hub for RV education and community. Many members who had never attended anything but Xscapers events stepped up and proudly displayed their dedication to this club by attending seminars, participating in fundraising efforts and displaying the welcoming attitude of Xscapers to other members who were curious about our branch of the Escapees RV Club. The Xscapers hosted daily social hours during which the experienced members met and interacted with other Escapees who were looking to learn more about our group. We shared stories and attempted to convey what Xscapers is all about, to help others determine if becoming Xscapers is right for them. To give folks a small taste of what they might expect at a Convergence, Xscapers hosted three separate silent disco dance parties. The nights were fi lled with laughter,
