The crashing glaciers and towering Chugach Mountains rising from the sea make the town of Valdez picturesque. This Hangout will take place during the 61st Annual Valdez Gold Rush Days, a fi ve-day festival celebrating the town’s gold rush history and heritage that features live music, an open-air market, a community barbecue, a comedy theater performance, a parade and more. You’ll also get to experience a glacier cruise, kayaking, sport fi shing, scenic bike paths and beautiful hiking trails.
