TAKE THREE/// LUXURY SKI LODGES

Unique piste-side places to stay

DINNER IN THE DOLOMITES

Italian fashion house Ermenegildo Zegna has ventured beyond the realm of fashion to launch Zegna World Pass, a series of superb lifestyle experiences. Our favorites are the private after-hours viewings of artworks, as well as front row seats at Zegna’s fashion shows. Though the absolute ultimate (and admittedly we are biased) is the ski package to the Italian Dolomites that Zegna

has put together for Elite Traveler readers. It includes a stay in the top suite of five-star Rosa

GOWESTWOOD

Bella Cool and Le Ti Verbier, Switzerland

For those who buy into the adage that biggest is best, the latest suite to open at The London West Hollywood hotel in Los Angeles should fit the bill. At 11,000 sq ft, it claims to be the largest suite in the city. An even bigger selling point, for fashion lovers at least, is that it was designed by Dame Vivienne Westwood, whose style is referenced throughout. There is hand-drawn tartan decor in the bathroom, a bespoke rug with her iconic squiggles in the lounge and a rough-hewn tapestry that recalls Westwood’s Exploration season in spring/summer 2001. Entry to the penthouse – which comes with water features, two bedrooms, a media room and a kitchen – is by private elevator. It carries guests to the suite’s roof terrace, with a capacity of up to 300 people. Special services for guests include private shopping (including a discount) at the WeHo Vivienne Westwood store. But guests really wanting to channel the designer may have to forego the Westwood- branded bath amenities as the designer is rumored to eschew regular bathing for environmental reasons.
