Elite Traveler Winter 2024/25

DASSAULT FALCON 6X Want to take your friends straight into Gstaad? The newly debuted Dassault Falcon 6X can get you closer to your destination with its ability to tuck into airports with runways as short as 4,000 ft. In fact, the 6X can stop in 2,300 ft, and its crisp fl y-by-wire controls allow the pilot to make these approaches with a margin of safety unmatched in the class. During its demonstration tour around the globe, the 6X beat the jet’s originally predicted numbers in many respects, including a 5,500 nm trip from Paris to São Paulo, Brazil — which set the range for the 6X’s entry into the market. The award-winning interior choices abound for the cabin, courtesy of Dassault Aviation’s in-house

design studio. The client can select the fabrics and fi nishings that best suit their style, from traditional to one with — dare we say it? — a fashion-in fl ected fl air. The 6X features the tallest and widest cabin cross section of any purpose-built business jet — to be improved upon only by its larger brother, the 10X, when that becomes available in 2027. With three cabin areas to mix and match, the variety can meet the needs of a wide range of clients. Several 6Xs have already entered charter operation in Europe, though most are fl own by private owners at this point, and none yet have been acquired by a fractional company. dassault-aviation.com
