As travel editor of the Financial Times and author of White Weekends , a book about skiing, Robbins’ pursuit of snow has taken him from Antarctica to the Himalayas, via 150-odd ski resorts, including Iceland, for this issue of Elite Traveler . Read about his experience in “heli-skiing’s must-go destination” on page 110.
As well as Elite Traveler , Garrett’s career has seen him shoot for W , Elle and Vogue . He says of our shoot: “The aesthetic of the Mondrian, with its gritty copper public areas, luminous spa, and surreal Thames ‘beach’ with St Paul’s in the background, served to heighten the fashion Anat Dychtwald found for the story.”
