Restaurant Bougainville has been awarded a Michelin star within its fi rst year of opening and is a destination unto itself. It o ff ers a fi ne, unique and sensory gastronomic experience in an elegant setting with panoramic views of Amsterdam’s city center. The restaurant’s à la carte menu o ff ers a fi ne dining experience, where characteristic and beautiful dishes will be served, made with only the best ingredients. All wines are hand-picked by wine director Lendl Mijnhijmer, who won the McNie Tasting Trophy and was awarded ‘best sommelier of the year’ and ‘best sommelier for The Netherlands.’ The restaurant has a private chef’s table, seating up to eight guests, for a completely immersive experience. Bar TwentySeven Restaurant Bougainville’s fi ne dining experience is the inspiration behind Bar TwentySeven — creating the concept of ‘ fi ne drinking.’ Hidden away on the hotel’s third fl oor, the chic and seductive bar serves innovative cocktails as well as the classics. The world-renowned bar also has an extensive collection of whiskeys, rums, tequilas and cognacs, as well as a selection of beautiful wines and exceptional champagnes. Bar bites, such as traditional Dutch bitterballen and an international cheese board selected by the maitre fromager of Restaurant Bougainville, are available, too.
