DUTCH DANCE These performances are by far one of the most entertaining Tulip Time treats. Each day, see local dancers dressed in authentic costumes and wooden shoes perform traditional dances throughout downtown. ARTISAN MARKET Celebrate Mother’s Day and the opening weekend of our springtime festival by shopping handcrafted, original pieces by juried artisans f rom around the country. Held on the expansive grounds of Beechwood Church. TULIP TIME RUN The Tulip Time Run on May 7th is a great way to experience Holland. The 5K and 10K both begin on the shores of Lake Macatawa, wind through historic neighborhoods and finish down our famous tulip lined streets. Great for beginners and experienced runners alike! $ WALKING TOURS Join a costumed guide to discover the beauty of Tulip Time while learning the dynamic past and present of Holland. On this 11/2 hour walking tour, visit numerous gorgeous tulip displays and the historic sites of our wonderful city. Offered daily. $

TULIP TIME CARNIVAL MIDWAY We'll have rides, food and fun all Tulip Time week long! Advance tickets and wristbands available. PARADES Experience two distinct and unique parades! On Thursday, May 12th, the Kinderparade (“Children’s Parade”) features local schoolchildren in Dutch costumes proudly showing off their handmade Dutch themed props. On Saturday, May 14th, the Volksparade (“People’s Parade”) begins with a white gloved inspection of the parade route and the town crier inevitably declaring, “The streets need scrubbing!” (Costume-clad locals immediately get to work). Both parades include delightful floats, marching bands and Dutch dancers. QUILT SHOW + QUILT RAFFLE Enjoy this display of exquisite handmade quilts, all created by local artists. Vote in the Viewers’ Choice competition, or try your luck in the 2022 Quilt Raffle. FLORAL ARRANGING CLASSES Huisman Flowers’ awarding winning floral designers teach the art of floral arranging. Create your own masterpiece to take home! FIREWORKS Klomp on down to Kollen Park for the spectacular finale of the Tulip Time week. Celebrate another great festival with fireworks, food stands and live entertainment.
