Die Set - Components

Wear plates are typically fastened to heel block die set styles to help control linear motion during the stamping process. Superior offers two series of standard wear plates: N Series and NAAMS. N SERIES: Wear plates are available in five standard types: hardened steel, steel with self-lubricating graph- ite plugs, bronze with grease grooves, bronze without grease grooves, and bronze with self-lubricating graphite plugs. Multiple hole patterns are offered for easy mounting and design. These wear plates conform to the automotive 'N' series industry standards in 'inch' sizes. Other types are also available upon request.
