Shanks are available on all die sets in either welded or removable styles. Both are located in the center of the die set work area unless otherwise noted. All shanks should be used strictly for positioning purposes only - not for clamping.

Welded shanks feature a deep penetration circumference weld into the plate surface.

Demountable shanks can be taken off the plate for easier machining or die maintenance. Demountable shanks are considered 'standard' and provided unless otherwise specified.
