The first football game was early in the season. With the echoing Ram chant coming from the bleachers they were packed with familiar and new faces. "This year we were working hard on changing the culture of the football program at our school" said Coach Sandoval and he surely did achieve it. Sophomore Levi Barrios said "I took a deep breath in that moment, looked at the bleachers and saw my mom cheering me on. I knew that on that play I had to put some yards in and I did 23 yards!" The crowd was showing their pride and spirit by attending the games and the pride in our Varsity football team was loud and clear. Despite the mistakes, the football team was constantly searching for improvements. "We are not asking for perfection we are looking for dedication and commitment. At the end of the day, we were one big family playing the sport we love." Story by: Juan Espinoza The most memorable moment in football was when I took a guy out of the game because of how hard I threw him to the ground, and another thing I won't forget was the game versus Indio, I destroyed there offense.
