Desert Mirage HS 2020

Realization

''Football helped me realize what I needed in my life, it also kept me on track in the real world. All those hits I took to my head sparked something in me, so I thought to myself if life keeps on hitting take the hits or hit back, I choose to hit back even harder." -Jordan Pinney, Senior#4

A

huddle would usually be a place of concentration, the will to succeed and score points on the board for your offense. A call from the play and you can bust the potential of a big play. Which can later in the game

affect your team's chance of winning.

Rivalry

"Rivalry is with ourselves. I attempted to be better than myself as much as possible. I fought against myself, not against the others whenever I seemed to be down I challenged myself to bring myself up, I planed to be the best version of whom I ought to become." -David Mendez#50

The Snap

The snap was off and (Brandon Cazarez#2) hands off the ball to (Paul Diarte#7). Desert Mirage needed 5 yards to gain their first down of the game. Paul Diarte quickly founded a hole in the defense and gained a 8 yard run.

Determination & Friendship

"No matter what the score was or how tired you were, the game was never over, and bonds were vital for a good season." -Hector Jimenez (12) (Senior #52)
