FOLEY TAKES OVER GIRLS SOCCER KICK IT L E T ’ S

Soccer in Bridgeland. Moreover, Coach Foley’s passion for the sport extends to her active participation in a local adult co-ed league. Coach Foley’s journey is not solely defined by her love for soccer; it is also underscored by her deep faith and her dedication to promoting well-being. She is a Training Ambassador for F45 Training, reflecting her passion for nutrition and fitness. As she embarks on her role at Cypress Christian School, Coach Foley eagerly anticipates the opportunity to guide and inspire young Christian athletes, not only in their soccer journeys but also in their spiritual and personal growth. Cypress Christian School looks forward to the remarkable impact she will undoubtedly make on the varsity girls soccer team.

Furthering her academic and athletic pursuits, Coach Foley attended Stephen F. Austin University on a full soccer scholarship. Her time there was marked by significant success as the Ladyjacks became Southland Conference Champions for the first time in the school’s history, accomplishing this feat in back-to-back years. Coach Foley’s dedication to education led her to earn a degree in the field. For eight years, Coach Foley taught art and photography in Cy-Fair ISD. Her involvement in the soccer community has been extensive, encompassing nine years of training, refereeing, and coaching in Houston. Notably, for the last four years, she has been at the helm of FC Cypress/Aspire Soccer Club and The Training Grounds

year. In addition, she was named to the Duncanville All-Tournament Team and lettered three years running track and lettered four years in soccer. In the realm of club soccer, Foley showcased her skills with dedication and determination. She competed for notable teams, including the Texas Star U-16, Texas Star U-19, and D’Feeters U-19, achieving the esteemed title of WAGS Champion. Coach Foley’s journey also led her to become a member of the State Olympic Program and earn the status of an all-region player. Her prowess on the field was highlighted as she became the youngest player in the Lake Highlands League U-19 and secured the title of leading scorer in the Lake Highlands Classic League.

Throughout her high school soccer career, she earned numerous accolades, solidifying her status as a formidable player. She served as a team captain, garnered the titles of Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year, and received the honor of being named to the first-team, all district. Additionally, Coach Foley excelled as the district’s leading scorer during her sophomore and junior years, and she concluded her high school career as her team’s leading scorer.
