If you’re looking for somewhere to explore, relax, or have a new adventure this year, you’ve come to the right place! West Michigan is full of outdoor destinations to explore, new flavors to sample, and memories ready to be made. It’s the perfect time to try something new, and take the path less traveled as you explore the area. Take an excursion on the tall ship at the Michigan Maritime Museum in South Haven. Learn to luge at the Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park. Tour through history, and play a game of baggataway at Fort Michilimackinac in Mackinaw City. Drive through Paradise to explore the historic Coast Guard station and lighthouse at Whitefish Point. Many travel destinations have worked hard to reinvent themselves over the past year, so it’s a good idea to plan ahead and double check hours and availability. Plan to build some extra time into your trips, and make sure to be kind to those who are working hard to help visitors have a great experience. You’l l find all types of places to visit as you explore West Michigan in this copy of the Carefree Travel Guide , and the most up-to-date info at WMTA.org.
