Agritourism Map

Getting outdoors and hands-on with the area’s rich agricultural offerings is a great way to learn more about where our local food comes from. Check out our picks for the area’s best agritourism destinations, including u-pick farms, farm markets, petting zoos, dairies, and more.

Situated along the shores of Lake Michigan, West Michigan’s rich soils, cool nights, and sunny summer days make it one of the leading areas for fruit production in the nation. Throughout the region, farmers grow flavorful strawberries, peaches, cherries, apples, blueberries, and raspberries. You’ll find that many farms welcome you to pick your own fruit when you visit, and get the full farm experience. Local dairies are some of the most delicious agritourism destinations you can visit. You’ll find that many of these locations, in addition to offering milk and cheeses, also make their own ice cream! There’s nothing like the taste of freshly-made ice cream enjoyed right on the farm. Farmers markets, orchards, and farms are a fantastic way to support and enjoy local products, and West Michigan is positively brimming with them.
