Perks of the Hustle All students, at some point in their college education, have once uttered the words, “I’m broke.” With tuition fees to cover and future jobs to think about, on- and off-campus jobs provide a way to simultaneously pay bills and pad resumes. Working students share some of the unique perks they love at their current jobs.

MY PLEASURE Imani Edwards, sophomore pre nursing student, serves a customer ordering at Chick-fil-A. CAN I HAVE YOUR NAME Cassandra Simpson, freshman pre nursing major, inputs a customer’s coffee order at Wanda’s. “I’ve learned a lot of people skills through Provider. Whether you like the person you are working with or not, you’re in the same kitchen doing the same job. You are only as strong as your weakest link, so we’re always working to strengthen that weak link. It teaches me to be more mature and to handle situations professionally, which will be important for future jobs.” Emmanuel Zepeda Senior nursing major Provider Food Service
