Total Artificial Heart Pump

“We are tasked with designing a total artificial heart with a manually operated testing system. I love how we’re not given a step-by-step guide on how to complete the project. Although it would be nice, it wouldn’t prepare us for the real world. (Through this project) we can struggle with a problem now to find ways to overcome future problems.”

Face Masks

“We are testing the effectiveness of masks in hopes of creating our own. The goal is to create a mask that addresses the issues that most masks have, such as fit, size and pricing. We’ve been running simulations through a sneeze generator and collecting surveys from CBU students. It’s interesting to see how different masks have been developed in themedical field through this project.”
