Capping Off the Year Before graduating and entering the workforce, all engineering majors must take junior design and senior capstone projects. From the devel opment of the project to the documentation and the final deliverable, junior and senior engineering majors see their projects through to completion. Here are the projects some of them were assigned based on their specific engineering fields.

Steel Bridge

“My group is working on designing a steel bridge that would fit the specifications of a real-world situation. While typically our bridge models would be constructed at a PSWC (Pacific Southwest Convention) competition, because of COVID-19 restriction, we’re focusing more on the design of the bridge with the use of analysis software.”
