children. Koenig could not be prouder of the life they have built together. 2023-2024 Bar Year Plans Koenig leads the CBA during its 150th anniversary year. The CBA has planned several events and festivities over the next year to commemorate this milestone anniversary, including CLE offerings on privacy, diversity, and the rule of law; an Impact Day 5K; and an Anniversary Gala in May 2024. Koenig is also excited to host an international CLE trip to Mexico City in March 2024. Mexico City and Chicago have a long-standing relation ship built on economic, cultural, and educational ties. More trip details will be released later in the year. Koenig has much in store for CBA members this year, so be sure to join in on all opportunities to share, learn and celebrate.

Ray has the ability to bring out the best in people, particularly with the young lawyers he mentors, many of whom are now partners and excelling in their field. Did You Know? The Association’s first headquarters consisted of four rooms in the Brown’s Building at Clark and Madison – one meeting room, a dining room open until 3:30 p.m., and two small parlors for smoking and relaxing from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
