Brave Enough To Be Bliss

While I think of this as an approach in a romantic relationship, the concept could work in any relationship. Instead of trying to hash through all the specifics, doing something for someone without tying it to anything else shows effort, kindness, and loving behavior, which has probably been missing from the relationship. Starting with effort that will build or rebuild trust before having any other conversation about the specific issues that exist. It will likely break down barriers that will ultimately make conversation easier and more productive. Being female is hard. Being male is hard. There isn’t a way to compare who is in the most pain and it simply doesn’t matter. Being human is hard. Let’s be brave enough to vulnerably communicate, understand, care for, and love each other better and let’s start today.
