Brave Enough To Be Bliss
Chapter 8 — Launching Ginger Bliss
“Let me not walk blindly into this world. Let me walk with eyes that are open and with a heart that sees. Yes…let my heart recognize the fragile places in another. And there I will plant kindness, reminding someone who has perhaps forgotten, what a beautiful being they are.” Darla Evans
Ginger Bliss Instagram post on October 10, 2022 Since I rarely allowed myself to cry even about sad things in past years, it was monumental last week when I caught myself with tears in my eyes that soon flowed down my cheeks simply thinking about how much I’ve grown while soaking in this beautiful weather and thinking of all the beautiful people who have touched my life. From living scared thinking I had to try and have everything perfectly in place (second pic reminds me of those years) to being, not only comfortable, but thinking I don’t look half bad even with dirty, disheveled hair coming off a fun lake day (third pic). Self-hatred and fear drove my life for 50+ years, but not anymore. Regardless of age, hope and healing is possible. Never give up becoming all you can be in this one life you have to live. It is hard work, there is pain and healthy relationships require ongoing growth, but the resulting freedom, belonging, love and joy are so worth every tear. #worldmentalhealthday2022

Ginger Bliss Facebook Post October 19, 2022
Hello, my dear friends. I have been so touched by your kind and supportive comments as I have continued to share bits and pieces of my healing journey. With each post, I have heard from someone who unveils his or her story and perspective and in doing so experiences newfound freedom and authenticity. I have been encouraged by many of you who have said you would read my book when it is published, so I decided to create a website and blog for those who are interested. Additionally, it will give a forum where readers can provide me with feedback that I can consider as I continue to work on finishing the book. If you're interested, please click on the link below and read my first blog post, and if you'd like to read more in the future, please subscribe and consider sharing this message with your friends. Thank you for your consideration and ongoing support. I appreciate each of you! https://www.gingerbliss.life/
