Leadership Kentucky has selected Stites & Har bison, PLLC , attorney Shea Luna as a member of the 2025 Leadership Kentucky program. This year’s 52-member class will participate in seven three-day sessions from June through December at locations throughout Kentucky. Luna is counsel at Stites & Harbison based in the Lexington office where she is a member of the health care service group. Luna devotes her
practice to health care law, focusing on regulatory and compliance, clinical operations, insurance, and data privacy and security. Luna is certified in healthcare privacy and security with the American Health Information Management Association. Wilson Elser recently announced that Denise M. Motta joined their firm as of counsel in their Louisville office, as a member of the firm’s commercial litigation practice. In addition to the commercial litigation practice, she will be a member of the firm’s construction, insurance & reinsurance defense, product liability, prevention & government compliance, and employment & labor practices. Motta has extensive experience litigating complex claims in state and federal courts. Her practice focuses on representing clients in con struction disputes and related litigation, product liability defense, employment matters, and various complex litigation. In addition to her work on behalf of clients, Motta is a mediator and arbitrator. She is a panel member with the American Arbitration Association in its Construction and Commercial divisions. Motta is a member of the Defense Research Institute, where she has held numerous leadership roles. Motta earned a J.D. from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University and holds a B.A. degree in political science from the University of Louisville.

Responsibility issues ethics opinions interpreting both the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct and the ABA Model Code of Judicial Conduct. Singleton has been with the firm since 2000 and holds a B.A. from Furman University in Greenville, S.C., and a J.D. from University of Washington Law School in Seattle, Wash. He is part of the firm’s business litigation practice and served as deputy general counsel from 2007 to 2018, when he became the firm’s general counsel. While he holds significant litigation experience, his skills are complemented by his substantial background in legal ethics. He is a frequent lecturer on law industry issues, including conflicts of interest, client confidentiality, attorney-client privilege, law firm advertising and risk management. He is also a member of the Kentucky Bar Association’s Ethics Committee.
