Stites & Harbison, PLLC , recently appointed attorney Robin E. McGuffin , chair of the firm’s employment law service group. McGuffin suc ceeds Shannon Antle Hamilton who has led the group for more than 20 years. Both Ham ilton and McGuffin will continue their diverse legal practices in employment law. McGuffin is a member (partner) of Stites & Harbison based in the firm’s Lexington, Ky., office. Her practice

focuses on defending and counseling employers on a wide vari ety of employment matters. In addition to defending employers against litigation asserted under state and federal anti-discrimina tion and wage-and-hour statutes, she regularly conducts workplace investigations, counsels employers on compliance issues, drafts employment and restrictive covenant agreements, and assists with drafting and implementing employment policies and procedures. She is president-elect of the Lexington Forum’s Board of Directors. McGuffin is also a graduate of Leadership Lexington, Class of 2022 23. McGuffin graduated first in her class and Order of the Coif from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2015. She also earned her B.S. from Vanderbilt University, summa cum laude , in 2012. In addition, GreenHouse17 recently elected McGuffin as president of its board of directors. She will serve a two-year term. GreenHouse17 is an advocacy agency committed to ending intimate partner abuse in families and the community.
