BIP Spring 2025

Haisha, a NABIP member for 30 years and current chapter president, acknowledges membership challenges due to industry mergers but emphasizes the chapter’s value through ongoing networking, education and advocacy. The chapter’s Senior Summit, held along with Orange County and Inland Empire chapters, is NABIP’s largest Medicare conference in the country. It draws nearly 1,000 attendees, offering expert insights and industry connections. “We’re always looking for creative ways to keep members engaged and make a real impact,” Haisha says. “It’s about ensuring NABIP remains valuable.”

“Like many chapters, we have an annual golf event,” says Haisha. “Ours is held at Maderas Golf course in San Diego. This event helps us fund our chapter’s day-to day operations.”

“Our beautiful philanthropic team did what we do best in the San Diego Community, participating at the Challenge Athletes Foundation Halloween event,” says Haisha.

NABIP San Diego’s Annual Day at the Races is held at the iconic Del Mar Racetrack. The event helps the chapter support NABIP’s PAC at the state and national levels.

The San Diego chapter board attended the 2024 NABIP Annual Convention in Chicago.
