SELECTHEALTH PLANS FOR 2023 FEATURE ENHANCED BENEFITS AND CHOICES TO ADDRESS IMPORTANT NEEDS FOR MOST MEDICARE BENEFICIARIES SelectHealth recently announced chang es and improvements to 2023 Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plans, featuring enhanced benefits and access to high-quality health care to meet the growing needs of Medicare beneficiaries. SelectHealth Advantage products will now be called SelectHealth Medicare. “Each year we evaluate and design our SelectHealth Medicare health plan offerings with our members in mind, closely review ing their needs and aligning plan benefits with our mission to help people live the healthiest lives possible,” said Marti Lolli, SelectHealth president and CEO. “Our 2023 SelectHealth Medicare plans offer exciting and enhanced benefits as we consistently look for innovative solutions that contribute to affordable costs and provide better health outcomes for Medicare beneficiaries in our service areas.” For 2023, Medicare beneficiaries will enjoy more choices, added value, access to better customer service and more. Most 2023 SelectHealth Medicare plans include: • enhanced dental offerings that cover preventive care and comprehensive dental with first dollar coverage and no additional premium. PLAN UPDATES

• SelectHealth Flexible Benefits Card. This debit Mastercard allows members to cover OTC costs on health-related retail products. The card can also be used for expenses such as gym memberships, weight-loss programs and other activities to maintain or improve the health of members, including ski passes and green fees. • $0 PCP copays and lower specialty care physician copays are available on most plans to improve access to care for members. • The Healthy Living Program for member rewards has been enhanced to be more flexible and accessible to all members. Additional highlights for Utah Beneficiaries: • lower Medicare Part D deductibles that provide lower-cost access to prescription drugs for most members in Utah. • full access to all University of Utah hospitals, clinics, facilities and provid ers including the University of Utah Hospital, University Orthopaedic Center, Moran Eye Center and Huntsman Cancer Institute. • expansion into Uintah and Duchesne Counties. • new PPO options providing expanded coverage for out-of-network services when needed. UNITEDHEALTHCARE’S 2023 MEDICARE PLANS ADD NEW BENEFITS, SIMPLICITY UnitedHealthcare has introduced its 2023 Medicare Advantage and prescription drug plans, offering expanded access to consum er-focused plans that deliver a differenti ated member experience underscored by better-than-ever ancillary benefits, lower prescription drug costs and further im provements to core benefits. In 2023, the company will expand its service area to reach 95% of Medicare consumers nationwide and 2.3 million more people in 314 additional counties with ac cess to a standard Medicare Advantage plan and 145,000 more people eligible for a Dual Special Needs Plan (D-SNP). Highlights of UnitedHealthcare’s 2023 individual Medicare Advantage plans: D-SNP Utilities Credit: The combined OTC and healthy food benefit offered in 2022 on nearly all D-SNPs gave members three times more credit than the 2021 healthy food credit. In 2023, with food and utility prices rising higher than the average inflation rate, home utilities will be added to the benefit with an average annual credit of more than $2,200. This means Dual mem bers can also choose to spend their monthly credit on expenses like home heat, electrici ty, water, sewer and home internet. D-SNP Home Support: With consumer research identifying home care services as a top desired benefit by dual-eligibles, Unit edHealthcare will offer a new home support services benefit on select D-SNPs. Members can use a $150-$225 quarterly credit toward support services including pest control, companion care, light cleaning, home modi fications, yard maintenance and more. Flex Benefit: A new flex benefit on select plans can be used to extend existing dental, vision and hearing benefits after using these benefits. This annual benefit ranging from $150 to $750 can be used to pay for
