Consider creating user-friendly platforms or mobile apps that employees can access at their convenience. These resources can include benefit calculators, video tutorials and frequently asked questions sections. 8 . Text-message communication is a personal touch. Introduce text-message communication technology to reach employees where they are. Text messages are concise, direct and the preferred method of communication for many. Send reminders, updates and important benefit information via text messages to ensure employees stay informed and up to date. 9 . Social media engagement should involve employees and their families. Leverage social media to create a vibrant community around your employee benefits. Share informa tive content, host Q&A sessions and encourage discussions about benefits. Include employees’ families, who often play a role in healthcare decisions. This inclusive approach can strengthen understanding and support. This can also apply to text-messaging, whereby sending messages to the em ployees’ loved ones encourages the benefits decision process to become a family event.
