Regionals a Distinct Possibility for Nimitz Cross Country Speed Racers AFTER A REASONABLY PRODUCTIVE

PERFORMANCE AT THE DISTRICT MEET A YEAR AGO, THE COUGARS WILL BE ITCHING FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO ADVANCE TO THE NEXT LEVEL ONCE AGAIN. Senior Cruz Alvarez leads the bunch under the direction of coach Dennis Brazy, following a fifth-place finish in 14-6A last time around. Aldo Villafuerte ascends to the varsity level, after taking bronze in the JV race in 2023. On the girls’ side, keep an eye out for juniors Destiny Espino, Hailey Barbosa and newcomer A’niyah Bryant, who should be notable competitors once the district competition returns.
