I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of our staff members and stakeholders. Your invaluable contributions have made this school year a resounding success. Your unwavering support, whether through volunteering, attending events, or simply being there for our students, has been instrumental in our achievements. Your dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed. Once again, we have demonstrated the power of collaboration in providing our students with many choices and opportunities. Your support is not just appreciated, it is the backbone of our success. As we forge our journey of excellence, we know that we are not alone but part of a strong and supportive community. As we wrap up another successful year, I am thrilled to share a snapshot of our collective achievements. The most significant development of the '23-'24 academic year was the Aldine ISD community's approval of the three Bond 2023 propositions, a monumental step in the district's history. This approval not only endorses the district's mission of providing a rigorous educational experience but also underscores the community's active and crucial role in shaping the future of our schools. A Bond Oversight Committee, comprising community members and financial experts, will diligently oversee the district's bond program, ensuring its timely, quality, and budget-compliant completion. The initial projects include the reconstruction of Carver High School, Aldine Middle School, and Lane School, and the establishment of the Education and Performing Arts Center. Each community member's contribution is crucial in realizing these plans. The List of Highlights and Points of Pride is not exhaustive but a glimpse into the many remarkable things happening across our district. Please take a moment to reflect on these accomplishments and see how we are making significant strides in our strategic plan. 2023-2024 Highlights & Points of Pride Headlines • District Announces it will Launch Eisenhower College Prep at Eisenhower Ninth and Eisenhower HS in Fall of 2023 • AISD's Finance Department Earns Certificate of Achievement From GFOA • Over 50 Aldine ISD High School Students Named 2023 College Board National Recognition Program Awardees • Aldine ISD to Launch Second Unified Champion Basketball Games • Blanson CTE High School Named to Prestigious AP School Honor Roll for 2023 • La Promesa: NewSchools' Video Features How the School Builds a Culture Where Students Excel
