CAMPERSHIP Mary Lamb #6736WV and Michele Kendall #14517 D id you know that part of your 46er dues helps send children to DEC Summer Camp for one week every year? We work with school counselors who help identify students that show an interest in the outdoors. While at camp, campers have an opportunity to try new skills, including archery, canoeing, fishing, birding, and hiking, developing a lifelong love and

respect for the outdoors in the process. This is just another way the 46ers give back to the mountains and their communities. In the summer of 2025 we sent three campers to Camp Colby in Saranac Lake and two campers to Pack Forest in Warrensburg. Here is what the campers had to say about their experiences:
