Adirondack Peeks Summer 2025
IN THE PACK An empty backpack does little to support a hiker. A full backpack is necessary. The same holds true for the 46er organization; we need many volunteers to assist us. We welcome our new volunteers here. Thank you for your service!
Chris Martin #12391W is joining the Copyright/ Trademark Committee. Chris says: “After completing my winter 46, I started to really reflect on how much the high peaks have given to me over the years and felt a sense of needing to give back. pull to volunteer when opportunities present themselves, especially in organizations that rely solely on volunteers. I’m excited to help with the merchandising efforts of the organization and hopefully more as time goes on. I hiked my first high peak in 1979 (dating myself), and I’ve never looked back. Now hiking with my children and soon grandchildren, I want to do all I can to ensure the high peaks and the Adirondacks will be here for them to enjoy as much as we have enjoyed them. Supporting the mission of the 46ers is a privilege, and I look forward to being a part of this wonderful organization.
a Correspondent, with Adopt-a-Highway, and on the Trail Crew, I have never done desk work on behalf of the club and am looking forward to participating in that aspect of the organization. Happy hiking!”
