riosity and passion for the Adirondacks. His reverence for nature guided me. At the start of my 46er journey, I assumed this guidance was all I needed. I was wrong and soon realized that the hikers I met on the trail would carry me through. Charlie Merrill’s words of wis dom are always with me, but I also think of the friends I’ve made and the knowledge they shared throughout this journey. Without their support and encouragement, I couldn’t have done it. As I tackle my next challenge on this 46er journey as coeditor of PEEKS , I look to this band of aspiring and seasoned 46ers again for their knowledge and support.
