Firewitch is an outstanding hybrid that features fragrant, magenta flowers which are perched upon tufted quills of grayish-blue evergreen foliage. Fantastic in rock gardens or when used as a foreground for foundations and borders. It is easily grown in any well drained soil, tolerates heat, attracts both butterflies and hummingbirds and is also deer resistant. Shear lightly after bloom to maintain a tidy, compact habitat. Mature size is around 8-12" tall and wide. 8-12" Zone 3-8 MAY-JUN
GOLDENROD SOLIDAGO
Solidago 'Dansolitlem' Little Lemon LITTLE LEMON GOLDENROD
INDIGO BAPTIS
B. australis FALSE INDIGO BLUE
Geranium x cantabrigiense 'Biokovo' is an outstanding new hybrid for the landscape. Excellent as border plants and often used in mass plantings. Full sun to partial shade (some bloom will be sacrificed if too much shade), and well-drained soil is best. A very refined, uniform, compact, clumping perennial. The foliage emerges bronzy and turns dark green. Pink buds open to white flowers borne on reddish stems above the uniform mound of foliage. The fall color of the foliage is fire engine red and remains until the snow covers the plant! This plant only grows about 6" tall. One of the best geraniums on the market today. 12"x18-24" Zones 4-8 JUL-AUG
NEW! Little Lemon Goldenrod is known for its golden flowers, hence the name. Our landscape designers like them for their striking color and contrast in the late summer to early fall perennial border. They recommend planting them in the border, wild garden, meadow or naturalized area. The are extremely attractive to bees and butterflies. Fun fact, Goldenrods have been wrongfully accused of causing hay fever! It's one of the most compact forms of goldenrod with a mature growth of around 14" tall and about 18" wide. Be sure to cut back flowers after initial bloom to encourage a second fall bloom. This plant can also grow in containers! 14"x18" Zones 5-8 JUL-AUG
Photo Credit: Walters Gardens, Inc. Purple-blue flowers bloom in 12" long racemes on flower stalks above attractive blue, gray-green foliage. Ornamental charcoal pods can also be used in dry arrangements. Was once used for making dye and is natural to mesic/gravel prairies, rocky river banks and woodlands. Will also attract birds. 3-5' Zones 3-9 MAY-JUN
