The dense clusters of dark red fruits that follow are located along the tips of each branch, and are showy late into fall. The weight of the fruit causes the tips of the branches to arch slightly, giving it a nice, graceful form. A compact, rounded form of spirea with small birch- like grayish-green leaves. The tiny white flowers cover the plant in late spring, and if deadheaded, will rebloom again in later summer. Selected near Regent, North Dakota for its high quality, extra sweet, red to black fruit clusters in June. The fruit is loaded with vitamin C, Calcium, Iron and antioxidant compounds.
