Smart® DepartAlert™ Anti-Wandering Door Watch System The DepartAlert Anti-Wandering Single or Double Door Alarm System functions with three easy-to-use components: a door monitor, a resident wristband, and a caregiver key. This is all that is needed to effectively monitor any exit doors or other crucial doorways in a facility. Activation is as simple as hanging the door monitor bar on the wall using the included double stick mounting adhesive and plugging it into an AC outlet. If a resident wearing a wristband attempts to depart through a monitored doorway, the door monitor will alarm visually and audibly. Silence the alarm with a caregiver key and system is reactivated. Other alarm reset options are available including reset buttons and wireless keypads. The system can also be expanded using the optional Central Monitor to get real time information on multiple doors all at a central location such as a nurse station.
