We love all the sharp colors in this action shot! It’s really in focus, and you can see the individual droplets flying through the air. Notice how the right subject’s arms and the top of the fence create leading lines. This photo was cropped well to fill the frame and follow rule of thirds. It also uses selective focus well. One of the best parts of this photo, however, is the emotion of it. You can tell how much fun they are having, and we find ourselves wishing we were there with them.
