TH 6/25, 10 a.m. Bear Cub Book Club Join the Sterling Heights Drug Free Coalition and boost reading skills with high school mentors! 3rd–5th graders practice reading aloud in a fun, supportive setting, starting with a shared story and discussion before small-group practice with peers and mentors. Tween Book Box Ages 9-12 Tweens can enjoy a fun package with a library book, a snack and a surprise! Registration is required for each month. Registration opens for two weeks on dates listed below, while supplies last. Pick up within seven days. TH 6/4, 7/2, 8/6 Teen Book Box Ages 13-18 Teens can enjoy a fun package with a library book, a snack, and a sur prise! Registration is required for each month. Registration opens for two weeks on dates listed below, while supplies last. Pick up within seven days. TH 6/4, 7/2, 8/6 Advisory Group (TAG) and meet once a month to discuss teen programming ideas, volunteer opportunities and collaborate with your peers. Make your voice heard in your community! TH 6/4, 7/9, 8/6, 3:30 p.m. Teen Advisory Group Ages 15-18 TAG you’re it! Join our Teen Teen Summer Math Quest Kit Ages 12-18 Reserve a Summer Math Quest kit with fun games and activities to boost math skills. Specify age group and allergies. Registration opens for two weeks, while supplies last. Pick up within 7 days. T 6/9
Perlerpalooza Ages 6-12 Children aged 6-12 are invited to the library to make crafts with Perler beads in this two-hour session. W 7/8, 2 p.m. Author Visit: Kelly Stephanoff Meet local children’s book author Kelly Stephanoff as she reads her book, The Adventures of Ace & Jack . Bring your copy to be signed or buy a copy and enjoy a hidden picture activity and coloring pages. M 7/13, 10 a.m. Knot Tying Workshop Ages 8+ Do you know your knots? Boost your brainpower, dexterity, and practical skills by learning how to tie a variety of knots and when to use them. If under 13, must be accompanied by an adult. SAT 8/8, 10 a.m.
