Early Literacy
PAWS for Reading Ages 0-12 Children and pets have a special bond because animals do not judge or interrupt a reader. The first 10 children to check in at the Youth Services desk can read to certified therapy dogs for up to five minutes and develop their reading skills, then take home a small prize! Every Tuesday 6 p.m. Saturday Stories Ages 0-6 Enjoy a weekend storytime! This program will feature stories, crafts, fingerplays, and other fun activities. SAT 6/6, 8/15, 10 a.m. Inclusive storytime for all abilities with engaging stories, crafts, and adaptive activities in a smaller, distraction-free class. Visual sched ules and fidgets provided. Siblings welcome. Please register each child. SAT 6/6, 8/15, 11 a.m Preschool Storytime Ages 3.5-6 Independent listeners are invited to join us for stories, fingerplays, move ment activities, singing, and crafts! Each attendee also receives a work sheet packet and an additional craft to take home. M 6/8, 6/22, 7/13, 7/27, 8/10, 8/24, 6:30 p.m. T 6/9, 6/23, 7/14, 7/28, 8/11, 8/25, 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Toddler Time Ages 1-3.5 This fun, interactive program helps toddlers build listening, vocabu lary, rhythm, and coordination skills through songs, dances, crafts, and stories while bonding with caregivers and fostering a love of reading. T 6/9, 6/23, 7/14, 7/28, 8/11, 8/25, 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sensory Friendly Storytime Ages 3-9

Summer Music in the Garden Series All concerts will be held in our Children’s Garden beginning at 6 p.m. Please bring your own lawn chair and enjoy a fun night out! In case of inclement weather, concerts will be moved indoors to our Programming Center. Registration is required to save a seat indoors.

From toe-tapping polkas and smooth Latin rhythms to beloved standards, oldies, and country classics, they’ll have you lis tening, singing along, and dancing in your seat. Powered by bass, accordion, drums, and trumpet, their sound is as vibrant as it is unforgettable.
