Dino Dig Ages 8-17 Have you ever wanted to dig for dinosaurs? Join us for a chance to excavate “fossils” from a mini dig site and work with the group to identify your findings! T 6/30, 6 p.m. Youth Dinosaur Art Project Ages 7-18 Create dinosaur-themed clay art! Learn slab and sculpting techniques with the Anton Art Center. No expe rience needed—supplies included. Finished pieces will return to the library after firing. W 7/1, 1 p.m. Dino Origami Ages 8-17 Learn how to turn paper into your own dinosaur friend! Follow along with the librarian or go at your own pace with written instructions. T 7/7, 2 p.m. Create colorful dinosaur masterpiec es inspired by Saturday Night at the Dinosaur Stomp, using 2D drawing, paint and mixed media techniques. TH 7/9, 10 a.m. Adult Dinosaur Mixed Media Art Ages 18+ Join Anton Art Center to create a dinosaur themed mixed media project utilizing various mediums, techniques and materials. No experience necessary and all supplies are included. M 7/13, 6 p.m. Murder Mystery Ages 18+ An artifact has gone missing from a traveling exhibit whose curator has also disappeared. Teen Dinosaur Trinket Dish Ages 15-18 Make your own dinosaur themed trinket or jewelry dish! T 6/16, 1 p.m. Bird Dino with the Sterling Heights Nature Center Ages 6-10 Birds are dinosaurs…really! Join the Sterling Heights Nature Center for a fun, hands-on program to discover how today’s birds are related to prehistoric dinos. We’ll explore feathers, beaks, and other “dino” features through playful activities and up-close learning. TH 6/18, 10 a.m. After a time machine breakdown, you'll need to band together to escape from the prehistoric past. F 6/19, multiple sessions beginning at 6 p.m. Ages 13+ SAT 6/20, multiple sessions beginning at 9:30 a.m. Ages 8+ Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve All Ages Explore fossil replicas, measure dinosaur sizes, and discover why none were found in Michigan. Dig for replica fossils and real shark teeth— each participant may take one home! M 6/22, 10 a.m. Teen Dinosaur Clay Diffuser Discs Ages 15-18 Create a clay diffuser disc to freshen up your car, locker, or room! TH 6/25, 2 p.m. Prehistoric Escape Room Ages 8+
