Aging Well Over 50 S taying physically active is an important part of aging well, and our 50+ programming offers many ways to stay active, social and engaged. Join us for Walk with a Cop, a great opportunity to get outside and connect with local law enforcement in a relaxed and friendly environment. Enjoy fresh air, light exercise, and conversation while building community connections. Find details in the Fifty Plus Post. The Outdoor Fitness Park located at the Senior Center is a great place to build strength, improve balance, and stay active at your own pace with equipment designed for a variety of fitness levels. We will also host Twisted Summer Fun with activities like noodle soccer, disco bingo, and the always popular Wacky Water Games. If you are over 50 and looking for ways to stay active and connected, check out the latest edition of the Fifty Plus Post, available at the Senior Center or online at myshpr.net.

Sterling Heights Minibus Service

Sterling Heights Minibus Service keeps residents out and about this summer. We offer curb-to-curb transportation Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and after 4 p.m. for some Parks and Recreation pro gramming and City Council Meetings. Riders must be a resident and either over 55, unable to drive or adults with a qualifying disability. Spots are first come, first served and limited. No same-day service is available.
