Tween/Teen Programs Intro to JavaScript Ages 9-12 Kids will be introduced to coding concepts and complete basic JavaScript projects used to develop web-based games. Projects will be basic, take one hour to complete, and laptops will be provided. Tween Book Box Ages 9-12 Reserve a Tween Book Box! Each box includes a library JFIC book, snack, and a surprise. Please let us know about food allergies and reading preferences. Registration is open for two weeks beginning on the date listed. Must register each month. TH 3/5, 4/2, 5/7 Teen Community Service Project Ages 13-18 Earn volunteer hours while helping the community through monthly service activities that build empathy, leadership, and teamwork. TH 3/26, 4/30, 5/28, 3:30 p.m. Teen Book Box Ages 13-18 Reserve a Teen Book Box! Each box includes a library YA book, snack, and a surpris. TH 3/5, 4/2, 5/7 Tweening: Parent & Tween Night Out Ages 9-12 Enjoy a fun craft night together. Register the tween only, but a parent is required to attend. No younger siblings. Adult Programs
Tween Tabletop RPG Ages 9-15 Join us for a night of role-playing fun. Create your own character, roll the dice, and embark on an unforgettable journey. We provide the story and pizza! (Let us know if you require allergy-friendly snacks.) TH 3/12, 4/9, 5/14, 6 p.m. Adulting 101 Ages 16+ There’s no official manual for being a Competent Human, but a little knowledge helps! Whether you’re an aspiring adult or brushing up on life skills, these hands-on lessons give you tools to get by. T 3/17, 4/21, 5/19, 6 p.m. Anime Club Ages 12-18 Teens are invited to come watch anime with fellow fans! Additionally, there will be a drawing or craft activity available and some anime-inspired Japanese snacks! TH 3/19, 4/16, 5/21, 6 p.m.
Poet-Tea Hour Ages 16+ Tea and poetry at the library: does it get any cozier than that? At this monthly afternoon social hour, we will read and discuss poems while enjoying tea and cookies in a relaxing atmosphere. SAT 3/7 & 5/30, 2 p.m., 4/18, 10 a.m. Spice of the Month Club Ages 16+ Looking to spice up your cooking? Join Spice of the Month Club and get inspired to try new flavors! Each month, receive a spice kit with fun facts and a recipe to make at home. M 3/2, 4/6, 5/4 Intro to Computers Ages 18+ This class is designed for computer beginners. Participants will learn how to navigate a laptop computer and complete basic computer tasks. Laptops are provided. W 4/8, 2 p.m.
