Adaptive Archery Ages 8+ Come discover the fun and focus of Adaptive Archery, a welcoming program for individuals of all abilities. Certified instructors guide participants through archery basics in a relaxed, supportive and safe environment. SAT 4/11-5/16, 10-11 a.m. $72/$90 Take a chance on a night filled with glamour, laughter and a little luck. This casino-themed formal includes dinner, professional photos, hours of dancing, supervision, party favors, and a jackpot prize for one lucky participant. F 5/8, 6-9:30 p.m. $29/$43 Location: Century Banquet Center disabilities, this program features classic yard games like bocce, corn hole and ladder toss, emphasizing friendly competition, community connection and casual play in a relaxed, welcoming environment for all skill levels together. Adaptive Athletes Ages 4-9 A supportive class introducing children with disabilities to the basics of sports. Through games and guided activities, participants strengthen their motor, social, emotional and learning skills alongside one caregiver. W 3/18-4/29, 5:15-5:45 p.m. $38/$52 No class: 4/1 AMPED UP Day Program We offer fun and engaging day programs for individuals ages 5-26 with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. Several sites are offered to best suit the needs and abilities of participants and are designed for those who will be successful in a 3:1 ratio. New participants must complete an assessment with the program coordinator and Adaptive Recreation supervisor prior to the start of the program. Participants will enjoy a variety of recreational activi ties including arts and crafts, sports, group games and field trips (for an additional cost). Registration: residents 4/26; non-residents 4/27. T-F 6/23-7/31, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. $280/$420 No class: 7/3, 7/23, 7/24 Location: TBD Northeast Adaptive Recreation Softball League Ages 13+ Join Sterling Heights’ adaptive softball teams for a season of fun, fitness, and camaraderie. Players of all skill levels compete in a welcoming, inclusive league with home and away games across neighboring cities. National League and American League Divisions available based on skill level and ability. Practices: T 5/5-5/19, 6:30 p.m. Games: T May-August, 6:30 p.m. $57/$73

Adaptive Yoga Ages 12+ This adaptive yoga class welcomes individuals of all disabilities to build balance, flexibility, and mindfulness in a positive, supportive environment. Each session promotes relaxation, strength, and confidence through gentle, guided movements. Instructor: Elizabeth Wilk T 4/14-5/19, 5-6 p.m. $38/$56 Dance the Night Away Ages 16+ Celebrate each month with themed dances featuring great music, re freshments, and friendly faces. These lively evenings encourage connec tion and confidence through move ment and fun. Advance registration required by 5 p.m. Thursday prior. F 3/20 & 4/10, 6-9 p.m. $11/$14 Diners Club Ages 16+ Join us once a month for good food and great friends. Participants will explore new foods and local restau rants while building social skills and independence. Participants are responsible for their own transpor tation and the cost of their meal, beverage, and tip. The location will be emailed to registered participants prior to each outing.
