1. How/when did you start working in the tanning industry? I started with Heartland Tanning in the spring of 2000. The industry was growing rapidly; Heartland was manu- facturing a stand-up tanning system and a few bed models. The T-Max® system was becoming the industry standard for tanning salon timers, with all the issues a new product brings. My background in electronics, lighting, components and control systems made me a good fit for a role in the tanning industry. 2. What was your very first job?
