Walsworth’s Yearbook 360 - Online Design templates can be used in your yearbook as-is or modified to fit your needs. You can also use these layouts as an inspiration to help you brainstorm your own layout ideas. These templates are made to be customized. We encourage you to make these pages your own by mixing layouts, resizing objects, changing fonts, adding color and, of course, adding your stories, headlines and captions. FOLLOW THESE BEST PRACTICES WHEN USING TEMPLATES: • Gray boxes should be made different colors. • Choose your own fonts (templates can only be shown in Times or Helvetica). • Stay with the same column structure on all pages in your book as the templates you choose (look for the template column number in this box). USE TEMPLATES TO CREATE A UNIFIED DESIGN TO YOUR BOOK. GRID EXPRESS SYSTEM AND PACKAGING Walsworth’s Grid Express system helps you organize the packages on your spread. Simply select a grid template and then drop the corresponding Grid Express graphics onto the appropriate sections of the grid. Following the vertical and horizontal columns of Grid Express when placing the content packages on the spread will help ensure your spread has consistent spacing. Don’t forget to delete the grid when you are finished with the spread to make sure it doesn’t print on your final pages!

WHY USE PACKAGING? Packages are like miniature designs included within a full page design. Designing with a variety of package sizes helps you organize and manage content on your pages and allows you to frame the edges of your spread by creating white space between layout elements. Each package should have its own headline and the headlines should get smaller as the packages get less important. When designing your spread, make sure the dominant package has the largest headline.

TO GET STARTED: 1. Log in to your Yearbook 360 account. 2. From the Yearbook 360 home page, click on Plan Book. 3. Click on Custom Templates to enter the window. 4.
