Writing: Tell Me A Story 2023

Susan Massy was the yearbook adviser at Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in Shawnee, Kansas, where her Lair yearbook staffs demonstrated excellence in writing and design for more than four decades. The Lair has won more National Scholastic Press Association Pacemaker awards than any other yearbook in NSPA history. The Lair also received numerous Gold Crowns from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. In 1999, Massy was chosen the National Yearbook Adviser of the Year by the Journalism Education Association and recieved the JEA Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023. Massy was also inducted into the Kansas Scholastic Press Association Hall of Fame in 2013. MEET THE AUTHOR
