part! I complete the process by labeling each jar and then storing them in the refrigerator until shipping. SUNDAY, APRIL 13, 2025 Dan and I watched church this morning then went to check the cows. We tagged two new calves. We have quite a few pairs in the field and while it is hard work, seeing the new calves brings us so much joy. Steve fed this afternoon while Dan went to pick up dry ice and supplies. I got orders and boxes ready for shipping, then wrote a card to each customer thanking them for their order. That is my favorite part of the process because I love connecting with people. MONDAY, APRIL 14, 2025 It is shipping day, and we have a lot of beef boxes to pack, thanks to our Easter sale. Roast, short ribs, steaks, and ground beef will be in our customers’ freezers this week! Like Dan

says, “Try it, you’ll love it!” Dan went to roller harrow the field where the bulls were. I finished with the orders and went for a walk down the field. On the way back, I stopped to feed our horses and gave them a treat. We could not do our job with out the horses. From the beginning, Grandpa Carl had his go-to horse named Mule. Sam rode his beautiful Paso Fino named Jet. Janna, Steve, and Justin had their favorites grow ing up on the ranch and continue to ride other great horses that we have added. Their children all ride plus Janna’s grandchildren. I have had the pleasure of riding a few in this challenging terrain and love every minute of it. Dan refers to himself as the windshield cowboy. LOL! From a teenager, he’s been a pro when it comes to operating and maintaining equipment and is Mr. Fix It here on the ranch. WR Note: Shortly after this writing, Sam Hampton passed away peacefully at the homestead. “If you want good neighbors, you first must be one.” - Sam Hampton
