Walsworth supplies you with a collection of display and body fonts. These fonts offer a variety of styles and tones for your headlines, stories, captions and ads. Body fonts are best for smaller text such as stories and photo captions. Of these, you may choose between those that are serif or sans serif. Some believe that serif fonts are easier to read, while others believe that sans serif fonts offer a cleaner, more modern look. • Baskerville is a good example of a serif font that has additional structural details at the end of the strokes that make up the letters. • Helvetica, a sans serif font, lacks these structural details. Display fonts are embellished fonts that are best for larger text such as headlines and some subheads. Give your fonts careful consideration as they are an important aspect of your design. The correct selections can add to the entire dynamic of your design and theme. Do not apply a Formula Color or reverse (paper) color to serif text that is smaller than 12 pt., or sans serif text that is smaller than 10 pt. This can make your type difficult to read, or it may not print at all. See example below.
