With an historic season comes awards with it . Emma King (Offense), Margo Matula (Midfield) and Tessa Dabney (Defense) were all selected to the TAPPS second-team, all state squad. The good thing for Flores is all three are set to return to the pitch in 2023. Joining that trio on the first-team, all-district squad was Corinne Ward on defense. Jacqueline Lesmeister was named a second-team, all-district pick for the midfield and Karoline Velasquez (Offense), Georgia Leppard-Kubala (Midfield), Arden Dabney (Defense) and Sarah Woods (Goalie) were honorable-mention picks. A major i t y of this team is back for nex t season, meaning another run to the t i t le game could be in the cards .

ST. PIUS X MADE HISTORY IN UNDER SECOND YEAR COACH LAURA FLORES. The Panthers reached the TAPPS Division I State Championship match for the first time in program history. St . Pius X finished the season as the State Runner-Ups. St . Pius X defeated St . Dominic Savio Catholic (7-0), San Antonio Christian School (1-0) and St . Agnes Academy (2-1) to advance to the State Championship match.
