THE KLEIN OAK GIRLS TRACK TEAM HAD A SPECIAL YEAR IN 2021, FINISHING FIFTH OVERALL AT THE UIL STATE MEET. The VYPE Runner of the Year Gabriel le Hoots paced the Panthers and f inished si x th overal l at the end of year event . Whi le she has graduated, who wi l l be nex t to ral ly the troops? Klein Oak returns some serious depth in 2022 , who had the big-time experience of running at State. Back on the course wi l l be super sophomore Lydia Butler, who f inished 25th overal l at the State Cross Country Meet . She wi l l be compl imented by seniors El izabeth Winkler (51st), Alaina Nugier (61st) and Daniel le Strebel . Watch out for another pair of underclassmen Jazmin McBride and Andrea Wi t zke to improve their times and round out the Panthers’ top f ive.
