CONCORDIA LUTHERAN BASEBALL UPHELD ITS USUAL STANDARD OF BEING KNOWN AS ONE OF THE TOP PRIVATE SCHOOL CLUBS IN THE STATE, THIS SPRING. In his fourth year with the program, coach Royce Kennedy would help guide the Crusaders to the TAPPS-D1 state title game, which would mark their tenth consecutive appearance in the tournament. However, they were defeated 3-2 by district counterpart Central Catholic in the championship, but the decade-long precedent that Concordia Lutheran established is unlikely to be matched anytime soon. With first-team, all-state selections, Nolan Traeger (TCU) and Eoghan Collins (St. Edward’s) advancing to the collegiate stage, the torch will be passed on to the likes of Ronin McCraw, Connor Jones, and Cole Lanclos to maintain the degree of play fans have come to expect.
