Launched in 2022, Concordia’s Esports program offers students an opportunity to game together in a safe school environment by teaming up with fellow Crusaders as they work together to compete against other TAPPS and UIL schools across Texas and the USA. The team competes in several different games that include League of Legends, Splatoon 3, NBA2K, Super Smash, Rocket League, Mario Kart, Madden NFL, and Overwatch. The team has weekly matches three days a week after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the Esports Arena on campus. Matches can be streamed on Twitch.TV. Concordia’s Esports program is comprised of almost 10% of the student population and competes in two seasons: Fall and Spring. Esports Team sees major growth and early success in first full season!

Recent Successes: • Spring 2022 State Champion – Madden NFL (Ben Fritsche ’22) • Fall 2022 State Runner-Up –Super Smash • Fall 2022 State Semifinalists – NBA2K, League of Legends, and Rocket League • Spring 2023 State Runner-Up – Super Smash and League of Legends • Spring 2023 State Semifinalist – Rocket League
